Welcome to my website.
I am a Consultant Surgeon specialising in Colorectal Surgery. My NHS practice is at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospital NHS Trust. My private practice is based at the BMI Runnymede, BMI Princess Margaret, Spire Gatwick Park & Nuffield Woking Hospitals.
My areas of interest are the treatment of benign and malignant colorectal problems, laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, abdominal and groin hernias, pelvic floor disorders and colonoscopy.
Clinical Interests
Colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, anal conditions (eg piles/haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas) and hernias (groin/abdominal wall).
Colonoscopy
Colonoscopy is when a flexible fibreoptic scope is utilised to visualise the lining of the bowel.
Pelvic Floor
Problems with inadvertent leakage/soiling (faecal incontinence), difficulty with evacuation and rectal prolapse are common conditions.
